The number of orphaned children throughout Africa increases on a day-to-day basis due to the diseases of Malaria, HIV, and Aids. In Zambia 1 in 5 people have contracted the HIV virus or infected with Aids bringing the statistics of orphaned children to a staggering 570,000. As a result of the detrimental rate of children with deceased parents and family members, Charles saw the need to build an orphanage where the children of Zambia could have a place to grow and call home. Through the orphanage, Mufutuli Ministries is nurturing young children to be Christian leaders and business innovators by providing them with the solid foundation of an education and sustainable farming skills, which empower them physically and spiritually.
